This Swedish photography museum is located in the Flatiron District at 281 Park Avenue south in a landmark building. Fotografiska is based out of Stockholm and this was their first location in New York City. It is 45,000 square feet and has six floors in total. Located on the second floor is the restaurant Veronica operated by the famous Stephen Starr restauranteur. This complex project took a total of four years to construct with extensive structural engineering and was designed by reputable architect Cetra Ruddy.
Floors three through five consist of the gallery floors showcasing the latest artwork. You can shop retail on the first floor while grabbing coffee on the go, and if you are in need of a private event, you can rent the sixth floor event space.
